It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and there’s a high chance it came so quickly that you haven’t done your Christmas shopping yet. Luckily, there are apps in Shift to help you finish your Christmas shopping early.
A lot of people do the bulk of their Christmas shopping around the sales seasons. Cyber Monday and Black Friday are easily the best time to get your holiday shopping done. If you’re an organized person, that is.
But what if you’re not? What if you wait until the last minute to do your Christmas shopping? You know, the shelves are empty in the offline world, everything is sold out on the online world.
We guess you could craft some DIY gifts, but then where will you get those materials from either? The fact of it is, 16% of millennials use their smartphones to do their Christmas shopping. Furthermore, 61% do their browsing and comparisons.
Just a couple of decades ago, you had to go into the city to do your shopping. You had to line up behind another 100 people all there to do the same thing. Now, we get to skip the lines via online shopping apps.
Therefore, do we really have an excuse as to why we haven’t done it yet? You could literally be ordering gifts now!
Thankfully, as our Christmas gift to you guys, we’ve pooled together some shopping apps that even we couldn’t live without:
eBay
The question should be, “What can’t you find on eBay?” This auction site has long been the place-to-go to find the kind of gifts you can’t find anywhere else. Newest tech, unique gifts, clothing, a toy you haven’t seen since you were a kid…
It’s also not exclusively an auction site. The handy “buy now” option can save you tons of grief and time when you could be drinking eggnog instead.
Etsy
Etsy is full of handmade gems you can’t get anywhere else. It’s the marketplace for makers and finders. You can buy gifts like jewelry, vintage clothing, furniture, and books. If you want to buy something that nobody else has – go straight to Etsy and type in your wildest dreams.
Amazon
It’s no surprise to anyone that Amazon is the leader in e-commerce, but it’s for a good reason. Amazon is reliable and upfront, it does its best to prevent fake reviews for products and is so easy to use. When you’re looking for quick gifts at great prices, be it technology or toys, Amazon’s on it.
If you have Alexa, you can even order Christmas gifts without having to move a muscle. Besides your throat – is that a muscle?
Flipp
Who doesn’t love a deal? Flipp brings all those deals into one platform for you so you can make executive (and impulsive) decisions all you like. After all, isn’t that what Christmas is for?
Busy moms and smart shoppers are all over this app. Sometimes even while they’re in the store! (But you don’t have to leave the house until you have to)
Facebook Marketplace
Facebook Marketplace is becoming one of the hottest tickets in the online shopping market. Social commerce is quickly catching up to, and we doubt it’ll be long until more people are using it to shop for gifts.
On Facebook Marketplace, you’ll find anything that people are looking to sell. “Pre-owned” doesn’t mean the item couldn’t make a perfect gift. AND it brings a credibility to the table to see who the seller is.
All of these apps are great ways to get your Christmas shopping done before it’s too late. Also, you don’t have to choose which to use. With Shift, you can compare and contrast from one single window.
